Post Ls/vtec build suggestions?

Been piecing together a build. Shooting for 205 whp all motor. Basic rundown below..

Head:
P72 base
Ported/polished/3 angle valve job
Ferrea SS valves (standard spec)
Supertech titanium valve springs/retainers
Buddyclub Spec 3 + camshafts
Skunk2 Pro series cam gears (newer design 6 bolt)
Bisimoto V2 header
Head was shaved .010"
Arp headstuds

Block:
B18B1 base
Usdm ITR pistons
Decked/honed
Arp rod bolts on stock rods
Npr piston rings

Misc:
Golden Eagle LS/V kit
B16 tranny
OBD1 gsr wiring harness
Chipped P61 Ecu by Neal Sutton

Parts pending to purchase:
Edelbrock Performer X intake manifold w/Hondata gasket
Zex smartbox 80 shot direct port setup
Rc 440's
Phantom grip lsd
3" CAI
Buddyclub spec 2 exhaust w/silencer for daily use

Not sure on which mounts to go with yet...any suggestions? Anything I should change to make all these parts work better together?

I have decided to go with the toda flywheel. Now I need a nice clutch setup. The car will be my daily driver and see the track maybe twice a month. I will be spraying an 80 direct port shot so I figure the clutch will need to hold at least 300 whp just to be on the safe side. Any suggestions??

Looks good so far, for the mounts Hasport or innovative. How much did you and why did you deck the block?

When it comes to the mounts I have limited the selection to either one of those companies already but, I am looking for the least amount of vibration for sure..It was my builder's suggestion..

No machine can shave or mill or wet grind .001 Did you mean .010"? Anyway your combination looks good for 205whp, all parts working right. The spay will remedy any HP goals not met. Good luck.

Why all the nice parts only to use stock rods and type r pistons?
Id say grab a nice 11.1 Arias piston and some Eagle rods.

It just wasn't necessary man..It's a street build won't be seeing too much aggressive driving too often, it will stay under the vtec engagement for daily driving..If I was going high comp forged then I'd have bigger cams and it would be on e85 blah blah blah...

Still, stock rods on spray, ehh. I've been there and I wish I would have gotten rods. Trust me, do it right once or keep doing it over.
Once you have a taste of power there is always that hunger for more.

Good luck though.

^ my mechanics 220k bone stock ls ( when I say this I mean literally only a cai ) was on a 100 shot every week refilling a 10 pound bottle twice a week consistently for a full year before frying a piston ring so I'm sure I'll be alright on a tune for the spray with supporting mods...not just gonna throw it on their and hope for the best lol

Go with jdm integra type r pistons and run a bigger cam. Other wise I wouldn't change a thing.

As far as a clutch goes, exedy stage two. Make sure you get the thicker disc, not the thinner one.

I originally had P30's but had bad ringlands (for the second time) and was gonna go with skunk2 stage 2 tuners but I am a full time student and pay rent so it wasn't as easy as asking mom or dad to buy this stuff for me and i have/never will had credit cards to pay all this stuff....I am looking into the comp clutch stage 2 setup

It will be fine man. I trust my mechanic who is assembling the motor and I will be taking the motor to a trusted local tuner..as I said, didn't make much sense going high comp forged when I already carpool to work with a relative and I don't go out much besides family/girlfriends/university..and I don't drive too aggressive as it is, I just want a nice reliable 13 sec fwd dd

My mistake, I mis read your original post regarding the cams. I thought you said blox, not buddy club. I have no experience with them. I suggested a higher comp piston and larger cams to make that 205whp goal a bit easier. Good luck with the setup.

Good I wouldn't put blox cams in my car if they were given to me as a gift! If I don't make EXACTLY 205 i'm not gonna tear it down and rebuild LOL it will be fine for me as a dd for now..
