I'm in the middle of installing my new header and i have everything unbolted and ready to pull it out until i realized that there was another sensor right behind the first one i removed.

My question is There is only one o2 sensor on the new header and further down on the header to where the sensor wouldnt even reach. what am i supposed to do? is it ok to just extend the wire and only use one sensor?

 

its fine to use one sensor.

the o2 sensor wire can actually go and reach to the rear of the engine if you route the wire over the tranny. you dont have to tho. either one will work.

use an old o2 sensor to plug the one you dont use.

I got the new header on and removed one of the o2 sensors and then cut and extended the one i was going to use.

I was expecting a little more out of the header lol......
