If you have $1,000 to play with you have 1 option:
Koni and ground control.
Hell, you'll even have money for a 22mm rear swaybar too. Which will likely do as much for your handling as the koni/gc will.
Or if you have **** tires, another few hundred dollars could get you some S. Drives.

Tein S-tech Koni STR-t/Sport
H&R race spring and Koni Sport.
There are many others.
We need a little more info. Is this a daily driver? Are you worried about ride quality? How low are you looking to go?

if you got the money then just go with a true full coilover setup..look into some function & forms..great prices and IMO great coilover for a DD..they run about 680$ if not alittle cheaper depending where you buy from
or or or you can go with ground controls on koni yellows like said witch is another great setup or if you wannna down grade the struts you can get some tokico blues with a gc set up..theres so many out there its not even funny..just do some more research

The H&R spring with get you to the lower end, and will be consideribly stiffer then the other. However, it's noithing the koni Sport can't handle.
If this were me, I'd lean towards the H&R spring.
Then, take what you saved, and replace some things on the car, ball joints, UCA's, endlinks, sway bar bushings, maybe even step up the ITR rear bar.
Also, don't forget you will need a alignment after lowering the car. And don't forget good tires if you plan on any sperited driving.

Then both setups i posted are worth looking into. The S-tech has the mild spring rates, and will get the min drop, maybe a tad more. And the shocks will be be perfect for that setup.

Which Koni's do you recommend?

have you done any research of your own? There are tons of info on this all over the web and on team-integra.net. For your "DD", go with ITR spring and KONI and place the spring at the lower perch.
Gtfo, never asked for that childish ****. I just want peoples opinions and yes I have done research. So if what your posting doesn't help dont post it at all

Just go with Koni Sports with Ground Controls with a softer spring rate like 380 lb/in front and 250 lb/in rear springs. That would kind of be in between H&R Sport and H&R Race springs, and let you get the ride height perfectly dialed in. With lowering springs your car will absolutely ride at an uneven height (squatting or raked look, and lopsided side-to-side).
Progress coilovers are good. Comfortable, reliable, cheap and warranty. How could you beat that?

Koni and Ground-Control is also a great option, but a bit more expensive.

AMR/PIC is the next price bracket.

just pair a set of S2 lowering springs w/ S2 shocks... you'll be set
They will ride smooth and soft, but still be aggressive when you hit a turn hard...
any linear springs that used on a full coil or a sleeve will be much harsher on your ride quality.

So you would recommend a skunk2 sport shock over say a Koni sport?
