Hi I'm doing a mini me swap on a d15b7 I'm putting a d15z6 head on it fully built springs valves etc. I'm also throwing new pistons into my b7 block they are Ycp vitara 75.5 mm so I'm asking what r good rods to throw in with it I plan on turbo so I know the rods r important what r some good ones for the b7 block thank u

 

i say any built by eagle, they are known brand but i havent ran a set yet, too broke >:\

 

Well when I type in d15 eagle rods on eBay I get no matches will any other rods fit in a b7 like for example z6 or a y8 having trouble finding rods for the b7 any other brands anyone?

 

only rods you can get for a d15 are from crower, and they arent cheap at all. like almost 800bucks

Its prolly cheaper to switch over to a d16 block

 

K that's what I planned but can't find one in my area looked everywhere how much would a block go for with a crank a d16z6 or y8

 

depends on your area, should be dirt cheap, check out craigslist. even if the motor is blown, your building it anyways.

I can find an entire z6 for 400 bucks from a junkyard by me, add some custom ftj rods, or eagle rods will be about 2-3 hundred, and they and tried and tested.

 

Alright cause I already have 75.5 mm vitara pistons I'm doing a mini me on a b7 I have the d16z6 head with supertech springs n retainer new valves aem true time cam gear z6 camshaft
