So the speedometer stopped working. I looked under the hood and the person who had the car before me did a ghettp 3 p connector wiring job. And it looks like it got wet on the top where the wires are. (blue arrow in picture)

I was wondering if I should replace the whole sensor or just wiring?

 

So I looked at the plugs on the 3p connector, one them was all corroded. I'm going to replace them tomorrow and see if that works.

 

Okay I'm going to get a new vss monday I hope. I can't reach the second bolt should I take the intake manifold off? Or is there an easier way?

 

No need to take the intake manifold off. You will have better access if the tubing leading up to the TB is removed.

 

The tubing? Okay, last time i was down there I removed the air intake. I could reach down there but couldn't reach the second bolt very good. When I could get the socket on it, I couldn't seem to loosen it.
