I assure you that's not how my crankshaft is sitting.. standing up nice and straight so it doesn't warp.

little piece of advise - you should do some work with brakes and coilovers before changing anything in the engine good luck with the project.

Really your critising cabinets? Yes I understand about the cams now, thank you I was unaware the proper storage for them was standing up I. Have stood them up now... feel free to not check this ever again if you don't care for it.

Standing up your cams is the least of your worrys. Better inspect the lobes before installing those

And your right, the cabinets look better than the valve cover

I would get Better cams for your build. The Stock B16 cams wont take you far.

Also get the VTEC conversion Head gasket. you will need to do some mods for the Dowel pins if you dont.

After market Intake Mani, with a Bigger throttle body. AND and GOOD header to go along with it. Then a TUNE

Haha i didnt do the valve cover, planning on polishing it or something. What cams would you recommend ive been checking out some b20v builds and noticing alot of people are using skunk2 pros, that and valvetrain parts like valvesprings and retainers. I was planning on a tune also thanks.

Its hard to say what cams you "should" use.

Its more of "What setup you want" "Race" Daily driver, ect..

If you build your car with "Ive heard " things, you're gonna fail. Talk with the right people, internet is the best place to learn ****

Completly forgot about this! Sold the B20 block, was going to go LSVTEC for a while ordered some parts. Before i recieved them i picked up a GSR block with arp head studs for $140. So now im working like crazy to order parts for this. Just a little update on the motor situation. Looking to fix all the body work new quarters and rust fixed then paint in the spring time. Ill update when i have some!

Time slip from an 1/8th mile track i ran at with my LS a few weeks ago, for sure need to improve on my driving! and the block stamp and a picture of the head studs installed! Might be a little while before more updates, had to pick up a wheel bearing this week and im in school soo cash flow is lowwww!

What do you guys think would be a safe number to rev out to with a micropolished and balanced rotating assembly? I know the R/S in Lsvtec is crappy, and shouldnt be revved to 9k, but what about this kind of set up?

GSR Block
ARP head studs
B16 head with stock valvetrain and GSR cams
Eagle "esp" rods
PR3 pistons
micropolished and balanced crank ect..

Not sure what else would help determine this kind of thing, any help would be awesome!
