Default Mig welding stainless steel

I know nothing about welding, so take it easy ha...

I was told that it is not good to mig weld stainless steel.

Is this true? If so, why? Should I stay away?

thanks.

you can weld it but it will rust on the weld with normal wire.

You can Mig weld stainless steel just fine. You need to run a Tri-Mix gas instead of 75/25 and stainless steel wire.
