Default Advise on my GSR build

just got my gsr block and im going with a brian crower stroker kit. need some help in picking the size of my pistons. im going with the b16 head. i need to know what to go with 84mm pistons to where i have to use darden sleeves or go with something smaller, what size pistons could i use to where i dont have to sleeve the block but still get a strong motor, meaning power and durability??

Need more info on the build. IE: FI, Nitrous, All Motor, Track Car, Daily Driver. What are the plans for it?

You want to spend all that money on a stroker crank, but don't want to sleeve the block.

Sounds like you need to spend some time in the threads of this forum and learn before you start dropping cash on parts with little or no idea of how do do even a basic build.

okay so i dont really need smart remarks.... this is why i am getting peoples ideas.... I already have 84.5mm pistons and sleeves in line. i have talked with people that have stroked there motors running on 82mm and there not sleeved. they have never have problems with there motors. ive read forums and post about people running 82mm pistons with no sleeves putting 240 down no problems, it was a simple question just to get an idea, what do you think im on this forum for......

@DA93teg: no spray, just straight up motor. I have been talking with some other guys on here cause im just new to this blog spot. and he told me there was an all motor section so i came here to check it out. Yes it will be my daily car, i dont wanna go stupid crazy on it. i wanna build a strong motor with my pops for my car. yea i might run it at the track here and there just to see... i do have it set up to get it bored, decked, and honed and sleeved if need be. also got a great group of guys who are gonna tune it for me.

i just wanted to get peoples opinions on what they think i mean ive had plenty people tell me you dont need sleeves if you go 82, shoot i have a b16 with 81.5's right now.... the ultimate goal is to stroke the gsr and have an 11.5:1 compression ratio, cause brian crower does custom pistons and custom h-beam rods.

For a daily 11.5:1 compression would be great for a daily since you can run pump gas. The stroker kit will also increase displacement to so you have good low end torque for the roads. You could basically have a decent car from OEM parts. Maybe do a "poor man r" or something. It all comes down to are you on a budget? Or willing to spend money for something reliable?

I will be on a budget. I dont wanna do the "poor man r" but i dont wanna spend thousands. The only budget im on is i want to have the money before the build. I will be sending it to the machine shop, and anything crower has some price haha. Also the sleeves are a big chunk of it. So thats why im in a toss up of 84.5mm and sleeves or just 82mm on stock sleeves.
