Rattleing sounds at higher RPM's
Hey, I have this problem with my engine where at about 3,000 - 3,500 RPM's there is a slight rattleing sound coming from the engine. It's not lound, but lound enough to where if my radio was off and had the windows down I could hear it. I thought it could have somehting to do with the oil, but that was replaced a few months back. I check the oil and it is where it should be. It's an older engine (I have a 1990 Honda Accord EX). It has like 147,000 miles on it I believe).
I know this is probably really hard to diagnose without physically being here to witness and hear this problem, but I though I could give it a try. I just don't have too much money right now to go spend an arm and a leg at the local Auto Repair.
Thank you all for any and all help.

I think you need to change the oil first. Second, I think that you have a bearing going bad, which is the same thing that happened to my 90 EX.
Mine has a little rattle at certain RPM's as well. I think it's just one of the exhaust heat shields though. Try having someone rev the engine to that RPM, and if it will do it poke your head around and underneath the car to try and hunt it down
