Tech @ Etown?
anyone know how tech is at etown? Just got the chassis certified and dont know if I'll have time to make licensing passes before Spring Nationals next weekend - will they give me any trouble for running mid to low 9's if all the safety equipment is there and the chassis is certified?
Not trying to thread jack, but is a catch pan necessary for etown? And are they really strick on the scatter shield? These are the only things im missing as far a safety goes besides the license of course.

it is an NHRA member track so we do follow all of their guidelines. please plan accordingly to have your car/credentials up to your required standards (meaning class rules and safety equipment). a catch pan is recommended but not required.

The box needs to be vented to the exterior of the vehicle. Also, you need a shut off that kills all power and shuts the engine down. I belive you can even pull the seats out, depending on the class you are running.
ya this is stuff i want to find out since etown is my local track. car is a daily driver so dont want to do stuff that i dont have to. only reason its in trunck is cuz turbo IC pipes wouldnt fit with it in the bay
