Default Enigne swap, I need info please!!

Hey all,
I am new to these forums and I am looking for some info on an engine swap. I'll hopefully be getting a 99 or 98 civic soon. I've looked at some of the other engine swap threads, and it seems you all like the B18C1 or B18C5, whats the difference between the two of them and how much am I expecting to pay for them? And while on the topic of swapping, since this is a first attempt at anything like this, and I really wanna do it myself, any other shtuff I would need for a swap? Is it a good idea to let someone else do it? I'm hoping I wont mess it up too bad. Any information would be helpful, thanks.

The two engines have the same displacement and parts between the two are pratically interchangable. The b18c1 however has 170HP for the USDM engine, and 180 for the JDM version. The b18c5 is from Integra Type-Rs and it had 190 on the USDM, and 200 on the JDM. Clearly a bit of a difference in HP. For the GSR motor (b18c1) you'd be looking at around $3200 for the motor/tranny/ecu, and for the Type-R motor, more like $5000. So you choose.
