Special Alignment
First, I must warn you that I'm a newbie to the site and restoring/modifying my own vehicle. You don't necessarily have to go easy on me, just know that, although I'm a sponge for learning thing about and what to do with my car, I'm not as knowledgable as most of yall are. Now on to my issue...
I've read and heard about special settings for the 3rd gen Prelude, yet when I talk to a service person, they act like I've lost my mind. Part of it could be that I'm female and they may believe I honestly don't know what I'm talking about, but still.....as much as I've read and heard about the settings, there's got to be SOME truth in it. Or am I just that ignorant, niave, or info hungry about alignment for my particular gen Prelude?

Yes, please tell us where you read about these so-called special settings? I believe there may be different settings for the 4-wheel steering version of the 3rd gen Prelude. Have you looked on prelude3g.com?
the "special" settings you are refering to is running a bit more camber and toe out than you normally would on the street but just warned that this will wear tires a bit odd on the street recommend track only for an aggressive alignment
If it's 4WS there is also a special tool used for the alignment (for adjusting toe, I think?). I've heard not all shops might have this tool, but I don't know how much truth there is to that. It's pretty much a big bolt or pin.
Honda has discontinued the tool, but a guy on Prelude Power sells them if you want one. They're about $40.

i have done a few prelude 4ws alignments in my day and there is no special procedures aside from setting the sensors in the neutral position and jumping the SCS line as outlined in the repair procedures for the 4ws preludes.
One of the guys in my Prelude group told me about the alignment settings, and yes, it was regarding camber and toe. After reading everyone's post, I'm guessing the 'special' alignment is for the 4WS, which mine doesn't have (yet).

Really if your not heavy into suspension mods I wouldn't worry about clamber to much. Getting your toe set is the most important unless clamber is way out of specified range.
Most shops when they do a alignment all they set is toe. If I were you I would learn and understand alignment angels and how they affect the car. Like clamber master toe the sai things of that nature. What affects them.
