where to buy parts for b20b???
OK, I’m getting ready to build a b20b to put in my car. I am wanting to know the best place to purchase rods and pistons for this engine. I am wanting to stay N/A and non vtec, but may put a b16 vtec head on it later. I know that I will need stronger rods, but what kind of pistons should I be looking for. I would like to up the compression a bit over stock but would still like to be able to run pump gas.
Thanks for all of the help.

Talk to Rocket (hes a member on this board)....He sells Probe rods for $310 shipped, and Ross pistons that he sizes the dome to what ever compression ratio you want for $485....The best deal arround, and Im my oppinon just as good if not better than the standard Eagle/JE combo.

Alright, sorry for getting on your case man....Just cause Im waiting for parts though doestn't mean Im not working on it still....I spent all weekend scrubing the block/head and all related parts with a tooth brush and carb cleaner, and also polishing missulanious parts like the distributer and tob of the Vtec solenoid...

there was a tiny leak after the fp guage install, but it was the varasol degreaser i used on the engine bay while the engine was out. Mostly just the fumes and the drips that lit off. Only damaged the hood paint and melted a few wire looms.
theres's nothing like not being able to find the fire extinguisher when your car is on fire

hey, if your going to run allmotor with the b20 with a b20head...your valve relief cuts in your pistons will be different.....vtec valves are bigger then the b20....so saying if you where going to run b20/vtec later on ..you might want to consider that
I use Eagle, and Endyn (Wiseco), but I will probably try a different piston next time! I'm running 11.0:1, on a full build up. Get a Vtec head if you are going to do some serious building!! The vtec head is a ton stronger, and better balanced, and not that hard to install. I get 190hp - 140lbs to the wheels @ 4000 ft!! That's like 200 something at sea level!!
Building a B20/LS/Vtec?? Never use brass fittings on the vtec line!!! I used the kit from JDMhondaparts, and it is the best!!!
Also, always use a Block breather setup, like Endyn's kit!! It is very important for not recirculating, and burning oil!!
