my sweetheart
First honda in several years. I took an extended vacation from them to ls1 powered toys. Have had the bug for a while to get another one to tinker with, and aside from the first gen rex the 88-91 sedans are my favorite. She's a 91, lx moredoor, 148,000 miles, pretty much 1 owner. Car is 100% rust free, and the inside looks damn near brand new. Everything works, power window, locks, mirrors, cruise. I had been after this car for probably a year and a half. After some tough negotiation a deal was finally made. All I knew about it was it "quit" on the interstate. I figured the timing belt broke. Got it home and got to messing with it, actually got it to run, but not real good. Turns out the radiator was busted and she got hot, warped head. Found a d16y8 head, put a new head gasket, water pump, timing belt, plugs, wires, adjustable cam gear to get the cam timing back right, and got it back together. She runs like a champ, pulled 35.6mpg last tank so pretty excited about that. Just running the stock dpfi manifold for the time being. Got the stuff laying here to swap over to 5spd with an 88 si trans, and was going to swap it to mpfi after that. It is kind of nice being an auto though, so that has really got put on the back burner. Not to mention it will catch 2nd on the right pavement, which is pretty cool for an auto. Repainted the top, hood, trunk because of some serious hail dents, found me some rear mud flaps and a mazda 626 front lip to round out appearance. H&R sport springs, and some enkei j-speed classics for suspension and rolling stock. Soundstream reference 405, pioneer components, deh-p880prs cd player, and a mach5 maw10. As far as future plans, the 5spd swap and mpi swap someday. Need to get the a/c back up and going, not sure whats wrong with it. The underhood is clean, but things need to be painted/freshened up. I want to whack about half a coil on the front springs to give it a little more rake. Would like to repaint the rest of car, it doesn't need much at all to get it ready to paint, but just one of those things I dread doing. Anyhow on to the pics

Thanks for the compliments, the wheels are the enkei j-speed classics. Seems like 15x7 38mm I think. They are kind of the china knockoff of their own wheels the ol' j-speed ll, so I guess it's ok to rock them since they did it themselves. Very happy with them, finish is very nice, price is right.
