axle lifespan...
just got my car back from getting an alignment. left front says i have -1.9* of camber, 2.6* of caster and .04* of toe....front right reads -2.4* of camber 3.5* of caster and .01* of toe....left rear has -2.6* of camber and .10* of toe...right rear has -2.2* of camber and .12* of toe...front what i've searched i should not worry about the little extra neg. camber that i have...
when i was paying they told me that since the car is really lowered...bout 2.25 up front and 2.5 in the rear that the drop is putting extra stress on the axles because they are short and the angle at which they are coming out of the transmission...i asked them if it mattered that i have prelude axles in that are a little longer and he said no...said that there was grease on the underside...axles have only seen about 75 miles on the road...please tell me what you think

If they did not tell you a specific boot or side, they may be talking out of their ***.
The installer was not careful and damaged the boot.
The boot was installed incorrectly/wrong boot for the axle.
The axle is the incorrect length and is placing too much tension on the boot.
Too much grease used on assembly of the axle.
thanx for getting back to me mike...the axle is an oreilly's autoparts axle, i stalled both driver and passenger side axles, they are prelude axles which on the passengerside, which is the one blowing the grease is about 1/4 longer than the stock accord axle...using it because i'm using roh and when i put the car back together i didnt like that the axle nut didnt sit flush with the end of the axle...the person that i bought it from saifd to use the prelude axles which ended up sitting perfect for the axle nuts....
on a side note...i see your location as c.v., ca...is that the coachella valley?....if it is i came to nebraska from d.h.s.

What you will probably need to do, is use the outer stub axle and CV joint mounted onto an Accord axle. That way you will have the correct length stub axle, and correct length main shaft.
