So I have a question. I have an H2B integra. when I drive longer than a few mins I can smell what smells like burning oil but everytime I check my oil its perfect. no burnt oil. Any ideas? or am i just paranoid lol.

 

Did you look around the outside of the engine to see if you might have a oil leak? Back of motor, front to see if maybe some might be dripping on the exhaust.

 

No Oil Leak. And if I Did have a leak it would show up on the dip stick. this has been going on for about a month now. Also no smoke from my exhaust or engine bay.

 

Hmm, Ive driven integras with oil all over the engine and I still didnt smell any oil. Park over a big piece of cardboard or paper, and move your car in the morning. If you have no oil on it overnight then stop worrying.

Put an air freshner in your car and call it a day

 

I have had the gaskets on the back of the motor where the black box goes go bad and leak oil. It would trickle down the back and drip on the exhaust and you could smell that when driving. Just thought I would through that out there to see if it might help out.

 

Could also be an exhaust leak.

 

perhaps your catalytic converter is failing
