Icon2 yet another O2 sensor question?

this is probably a newbei question and i did search before posting but still unsure.

Just bought a 2002 civic ex coupe 3 days ago.
changed the oil and the air filter, then the engine check light came on.
i rechecked the air filter box to make sure it was sealed tight. It seems strange that this showed up immediately after the oil and air filter change.
went to autozone and they pulled a P0138 code indicating the secondary O2 sensor. The guy at autozone said to buy a can of gas treatment and injector cleaner and that would most likely clear the code.

Is this good advice or not and if so what products are best.
thanks

Start simple. Reset the ECU by removing fuse #6 (15 amp) from the fuse box under the hood. Wait about 30 seconds before reinstalling it.

Start the engine and hold it at 3,000 RPM until the radiator fan comes on. If you have a scan tool, check the voltage output of the secondary sensor.
It should have 1.0 volts or more. If it does, it was just an intermittent failure.

You could always use a defouler if needed. They're inexpensive.

On a side note: You should buy a Helm's manual.
