Hi. I got a 87 crx si with i think is an ignition problem. i have to fiddle with the key for dash lights to come on. and it gets spark and fuel just wont stay running after turning it over. i got it to stay on while manually jumping two wires going to the ignition. red/white and black/white. any suggestions on removing ignition and checking for corrosion?? or??

It is your ignition switch. They go bad over time, specially if you or a previous owner had a key ring full of keys (the weight kills the ignition switch).
