Could someone please help me out here.. im looking for a new crankshaft for my D16A8. What crankshafts would fit this... Ive heard that some other D cranks will fit.. A stroker would be great D17 or so. An where can i obtain one.. thanks. Hoff.

 

Over here a crankshaft is worth $1700... so im just going to switch over to a B16. After 30 add veiws i would of thought someone would of helped.. o well..

 

Can't you just go to a machine shop and have your crank turned?

 

I tryed that... it spun the bigend an i was told that thay only have bearings that are oversize 20 thou an i would need 30thou somewhere around there.. im looking for some bearings that are 30 thou over now.. try an save the crank...

 

turning honda cranks = bad news bears

 

I cannot find nothing 30thou over so its scrap for that crank.. just going to wait for a crank to pop up somewhere..
