At a loss help please
Hi all, nice to meet you. That being said I will get to the point.
I have a 1995 Acura Integra LS 2d hb auto Tran. While I was in Thailand I had my parents moving the car 2 times a week due to the city street cleaning. Somewhere during that time the battery stopped charging and the car could only be started Via a jump or pulling the battery and recharging it with a charger. However after every full charge the car would only last maybe a day before battery was dead again. My first thoughts are the alternator, however I am wondering would the car stay started with a jump start if the alt was dead? My parents also replaced the battery and it lasted about 2 days before it was dead.
I know in the case of a 1996 gsxr if the alt is dead the motorcycle will only stay started as long as there is juice in the battery and than die once the battery is discharged. Not sure if it is the same with a car. Any help on where to start the least expensive trouble shooting would be great. I have very limited funds atm and anything that cost nothing to try first would be best in my current situation.
Thanks in advance to those that reply.

sounds like you have an open connection somewhere thats draining the battery. just having the car running long enough to move it into their drive way would not allow enough time to have the alternator recharge the battery.
if a brand new battery went dead in 2 days you certainly have some sort of power source drawing from the battery causing it to drain. I would look for any lights that may be in the on position with a blown bulb or other power sources that may be undetectable but can be causing power to constantly being used. if that doesnt work then id start looking into wiring that may be causing the constantly open circuit. hope this helps man

I think your alternator is out...The only thing IMO that would be draining your battery that fast would be head lights. 2 days and the new battery is shot....For cars, you can run your car with a battery with a dead alternator. It will then die when your battery goes dead. One way to test your alternator, is to start the car, and pull the cable to the positive. If it dies, then its your alternator seeing that the alternator supplies power to your whole car and charges your battery at the same time.. If it stays running, they you have an open wire draining your power...Good luck.
Thank you a ton for the advice, I will start checking this weekend. I noticed that the power antenna stopped going down, do you think that could be a part that would cause a power drain?
Thanks again for the reply's.

Ok so this is a update, The battery was completely dead today. So I jump started the car and than checked the battery with a multimeter and it was registering 14.53vdc So I am guessing the alternator is in fact trying to deliver juice to the battery. I took the car for a 25 minute drive on the freeway and came home turned the car off and checked the voltage at the battery. It read .710vdc and was falling fast literally losing 1-2 hundreds of a volt per second.
Right after I jumped the car and had it started there is a pump of some sort forward of the battery that takes Dot3 fluid and it was making a clicking type noise that I have never noticed before, an sometimes it would make the click in rapid succession an would almost sound like a air-compressor. I have heard it make that air-compressor type noise before but never that clicking sound. Also the ABS light is on.
During the drive however the car performed beautifully, plenty of power, smooth steady idle, smooth performance thought the rpm ranges.
Still at a loss though.

That should be the ABS module. It should not be making that sound. The bad news- they're ungodly expensive: https://www.hondapartsunlimited.com/...ATOR%20%281%29 The good news- you'll still have regular breaking, just no ABS.

Today I jump started the car without the batter in the car. I attached the jumper cables to the battery leads and then jumped the car. I removed the jumper cables and the car stayed started and then I used a multimeter on the battery leads and they register 14.53vdc at the leads. Does this mean the alternator is still good? I would pull the alternator and take it to get tested however due to the parking situation that is near impossible for me to do.
