replacing ground wires: speaker wire?
When replacing engine ground wires, i've heard of people using speaker/power wires from car audio stores. Anyone know which kind to get?
BTW, i searched about this and came up with a bunch of results about grounding kits, so nothing too useful

Power hook-up wire - not speaker wire.
8 gauge works for the non-battery terminal wires and 4 or 2 gauge for battery.
Buy quality lugs too. The ones you solder onto the wire cost a bit more, but are well worth it.

just remember if it's coated aluminum wire, which a lot of car stereo wires are, it can't carry the equivalent amperage of pure copper wire of the same gauge
