Default Can't adjust ignition timing any further

I've got a B20b that I convered to OBD1 with the intake manifold, dizzy, ect all from the old LS motor.

I put the gun on the crank and the red dot lines up with the mark on the timing cover a 5 degrees BTC, I tried to move the dizzy back and I can only get it to around ~ 12 degrees BTC before the dizzy maxes out on the sliders.

I changed the timing belt and water pump on the motor and made sure to double and triple check the timing when I did it, everything lines up and nothing is off.

Double-check the part number (how many teeth) on the water pump?

I wonder if you set the car to TDC off the oil pump, not the crank mark........Just asking.

No everything is fine, I found this out:

If you're still confused about it, just set your light to 0 and use the marks on the crank.
And figured out I was doing it wrong since my gun is adjustable.

Make sure you have the the gun set on the first spark plug, not 2-4.
