Default 95 ex manual intermitant(sp) no start...

hey all,
i recently replaced the starter in my 1995 accord ex 5 speed with a new autozone one because the car was having bad no start issues...i would get in, step on the clutch and turn the key, but the car would only click...if i pumped the clutch (step on it repeatedly) while turning the key, after about 15 times, the car would eventually start. so i replaced the starter, and the problem stopped, and the car started every time, for about two weeks. friday night the problem returned, but i figured it was just because it was freezing cold and raining really hard. then this morning, same thing. any ideas? i know the starter and battery are good, and im going to check all the grounds tonight after work, but other than that, im stumped. thanks for any help in advance..

How do you know the starter and battery are good? Were they tested, then of course there are the connections, I guessing you checked those. If cycling the clutch pedal seems to help, have you checked/tested the inhibitor switch.

Also, when it is doing this, what are the voltages at the starter-both cables?

im assuming that both the starter and battery are both good, as they are both brand new (within the last month). im not sure where to even look for the inhibitor switch. i did re-do the ends of the ground cable on the battery (i could actually pull the cables out of the clamp by hand...now they're nice and tight with fresh wiring), and relocated the smaller ground cable that is supposed to attach to the radiator support (it was attached to the battery tray!) fired right up this morning...if it acts up again, ill check more into the things you suggested...thanks.

Make sure the S Terminal wire on the starter is tight and corrosion free. Mine tends to come loose, but got it fixed.

car is starting to act up again, this morning i had to screw with the clutch pedal about 5 times (pumping it) to get it to start...
im wondering if the ignition switch is going? is there any way to check it?

What were the test results?
