yeah i got a bare b16 block and i wanted to stroke it somehow, but i dont know which way to go. i was thinking of a b17 crank, but one of my friends says it wont fit and one says it will, so will a b17 crank fit into a b16 block without any modifications?? and also if the b17 crank does fit, will the b16 rods fit around the b17 crank? im thinking it should if the crank fits in it in the first place... some info would be nice, thanks.

 

A B17 is a B16 block with just a different crank, so yes it will fit.

 

hey like your name breakdancer. ^^ can you airtrack yet? well anywase... hehe... ok thats cool, i thought itd be bigger so there might be alitte modification for it to fit but thats cool. has anyone experienced a b17 crank in a b16 or a b18 or higher crank in a b16?? i was gonna go b17 crank, eagle h-beam rods, and 9.00 je .30 over pistons (block bored 30 over), good turbo/displacement setup? thanks for the help.

 

The setup you have in mind sounds like a plan to me.

As far as your airtrack question(we call them Arials here in Dallas), I can do about ten or so.
