I drilled the hole out until I could fit a bolt and teflon nut through it perfectly, which really helps if you have to take it off again, lol.

The cover helps hold in the pin. The rectangular looking budging goes behind where the shifter goes through underneath and I'm pretty sure the circle ones go on the end of the stabilizer bar where it connects to the trans. I'm not positive about the circle ones though.

i got a 5/16x1'' compression pin and stuck in there it went in kinda easy so i put good old duck tape around it a few times hopefuly itll hold until the actual size pin comes in

When you put the right bitch pin in it will hold fine without the boot, there should be an other spring clip that goes around the linkage after the pin goes in.

true that i have the pin with out the cover and no problems yet also use the oem honda pin save your trany save your the worries and even tho a bolt and nut seem like a good idea its not cuz vibration will loosen stuff up unless you have a locknut or loctite i used a nut and bolt i screwd up my trans =( so now i use the pin

Go to a junkyard if you can't go to Honda. I don't understand why you are still asking for help. Tell them you need a bitch pin and they will know what you are talking about.
