Ok, heres the deal. I don't know a whole lot about cars right now, I am trying to learn as much as possible which is why I am trying to fix this certain issue on my own, but I'm obviously gonna need some guidance. I am not just going in completely blind though. I am using an acura service manual which I found online. Basically, I have a 98 Integra ls and the clutch stopped functioning one night while I was driving it. It just all of a sudden stopped working. I can start the engine up just fine but when I put the car in 1st to do a normal take off, I give it gas and then let the clutch out, nothing happens, the car doesn't move or "take off" like it should at all. With the car started I can also go through all of the gears without having my foot on the clutch and without the gears grinding which doesn't make any sense. I jacked my car up(it is sitting on four stands with the whole car off the ground including all four tires), I turned the car on and stuck it in first gear and my right front tire spins like crazy in first gear but the left front tire barely moves if not at all. I don't think it is a hydraulic issue because we tested the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder when I press on the clutch the fork that is on the transmission that pulls the clutch plate and all that stuff away from the flywheel is working just fine, but I don't know if one of the gears is messed up or what. I'm sorry if I can't explain it very well because I am new to working on cars but if you don't exactly understand what I mean then I can try explaining it again. Thanks.

and have fun. go on you tube and look up civic clutch change and you will find a good video on the clutch install.
