Default Oil pan gasket leak - sheer coincidence?

I've got a B20b from Japan with a GSR tranny. The car was stored all winter, pulled it out and drove around for about a week while waiting for my clutch kit. I changed the clutch on the car and now my oil pan is leaking from the gasket area. Never leaked from there before, this just a coincidence?

my guess would be its coming from somewhere else! it can easily drip down unoticed and acumilate around the oil pan and look like its coming from the oil pan gasket. check all the places it could leak down from, cam seal! v.c gasket, head gasket, dist seal, black pcv box ect.

Hmm it's weird because when I drive around town it's fine, there isn't any drips on my driveway, but when I go on the highway there's drips on my driveway the next morning. I guess with all the heat and high rpms it's sloshin' it around and out from somewhere.

It never leaked from anywhere before though, that's why I'm stumped.

get under there and try and clean everything up as best as you can. let it warm up, then rev it to like 3.5k for maybe a 30 seconds or so and check again. if not when you did your clutch, did you check your rear main seal?

It's not the main seal because it's even leaking on the other side of the oil pan, opposite from the clutch/tranny.

it will leak eventually its a honda!

most common places it will leak is the o ring on the pcv black box on the back of the block!
the oem oil cooler o ring if your motor has it, some b series motors dont have it.! thats the one behind the oil cooler between the block and oil filter! i bet you its coming from there or the black box! both these o rings are usually kept in stock at your local dealer cause they are so common to leak.

I'll check it out tomorrow morning, but I don't have that black box because it's a B20 and the PCV is mounted right on the vavle cover.
