I have a 1984 Honda accord with a 1.8l carb. Motor. When its cold it doesnt want to start. It starts and idles for about a second or two then when I give it gas, it looses rpms then dies. It will start back up, only if I turn the key off and retry without pumping the gas peddle. Once again it will only idle for a second before it dies again. It will do this several times ( usually about 10 minutes worth), then it dies a couple more times on the road.

Please help me find a starting point, pun not intented, lol...

I don't have alot of time, as this is my daily driver.

Changed the fuel filter? Ever?
