2000 Prelude Radio in 91 Accord
What has to be done in order to make this radio fit into my cb7 accord? What wire harness will I have to get or will it plug and play? Please help me out guys!!! I don't have a radio and I'm getting a good deal on this prelude radio

best thing i can tell you is to go to the junk yard and get the pigtail for a 98 and up honda that fits that stereo, look up the wiring diagram for the wiring pin outs then wire it up to the plug and play harness that plugs into the factory harness of your car, or hardwire the newer plug into your stock harness if your stock radio plug has already been cut off
You can get the OEM plug, or order the Metra 71-1721 (which is the plug for the 2000 Honda and is the plug that will plug INTO the Prelude radio. Then you can get a Metra 70-1720 that will plug into the Accords's wiring. All of the wires will then match color for color. Yes, each harness will run you about $10-$15 online, but it makes it pretty simple. I also can't remember if the support brackets that mount the rear of the radio are the same... I want to say they are different, but you may be able to swap the one from the Accord onto the Prelude radio.
