searched the FAQ didnt see anything so I apologize in advance if its there, however, got a 90 integra ls 5speed, car just stop starting one day, it can be push started and runs fine but it doesnt want to start when i turn the key, no noise no click, nothing. power source is fine, ive tried with cables on another car, checked all the fuses, took the starter out and had it tested at pep boys its fine, tested the power coming from the battery, that is fine too. ive heard about relays but i dont know what they look like and where they are. im going to take apart the ignition today but i have no clue what im looking for. any help, thanks guys.
yo im having a similar but not all the way similar problem lol, ive learned alot about my 1990 in the past 3 weeks, check your main relay it wont hurt.
-Under the driver side dash is where it is located, you will need patience cause its hard to get that darn cover off, you will also need a size ten for the nuts, theres a little black box connected to a metal peice that is connected to a bolt, that box holds your main relay.
pull the main relay out and then apply pressure to the inside of the black box cause you gotta kinda pop it out, be carefull not to break anything.
if you go to youtube and type in something about main relay you can see vids of people taking theirs out.
when you take your relay out, you should be looking for parts that look like they need to be re sodded.

Lets see if I am right! There is a plastic nipple on the top of your clutch pedal. Look on your floorboard and see if you find any broken plastic pieces. When you push your clutch in to start the car this nipple pushes a switch to let the computer know you have the clutch pressed down. If it's missing then there is nothing saying you have the clutch pressed, so check that out.

Ok I am sure its your relay! it has to be I mean if you dont hear your fuel pump turning on then it has to be your relay or ecu(last worry), but it happen to me. the relay is on left side of the steering wheel. and it should only have one 10in bolt. and its a small black box... if you know the paper clip trick it will work on that.... thats all info I can give hope you get it running...

I wouldn't trust any of those grease monkeys from pep boys on my starter condition. Take it to a independent shop that is reliable. I'm betting it is the starter solenoid is bad.
Why? because whenever you push start the car and pop the clutch to get it to start the engine, you are bypassing the starter. You can rebuild the starter solenoid but most competent technician just replace the starter as a whole unit. cheaper by the way.
I'm quite sure it is not your main fuel relay either because if it is, your engine would be running after you push start the car like you said. Replace your starter and your problem should be solved.

Dam i read this wrong, i thought it didnt turn on at all lol.
The best way is to try the b16 starter cuz its b series cable. So its possible it might fit. I could be wrong tho.

basically there are contacts points when you push in the clutch, same principle as when u push the brake pedal it disengages a switch or a button kinda like the one in your fridge that controls the light, anyway, when u step on the brake it pushes that button in and the brake lights turn on, the piece on/by the clutch pedal wasnt there so it wasnt making contact and the car thought that it wasnt engaging the clutch thus it wouldnt turn over, pain in the *** to get to but if you get in there under the dash you can see what im talking about
