N00b in tha hizzle...
Hello gents, yes I'm new to the forum, but not to Honda. Been a parts man for them for about 4 years, before that I was with Toyota. Looking for a little go-fast info occasionally, but more to just enjoy reading and sometimes posting...If you wonder what a employee of Honda drives, it's a 2000 EX coupe with a B18C5, all the bolt ons, no internals yet, but soon.....
let me ask you something, nice car BTW...why do HOnda/Acura dealersships hate so much!! My room mate has a 98 Type R- MF10's, FG-360 steering wheel, N1 suspension, super clean...and they just hate all day long. He brings in for oil change all the time, and all the guys do is mug!! Not a"wow, nice car" mug, but a hater mug!!! And the technicians gripe about all the bolt ons, even though they're just doing an oil change!!!

because he's too lazy to change the oil himself. He'd rather have Honda do it for 16 bucks- with Castrol Syntec, and they wash and vacuum. It's a good deal, I'd do it if I didn't have gallons of oil in my garage. Otherwise, it would cost him just about 16 bucks just for the oil!!!
No tech likes to do an oil change, regardless of what your car is or looks like. It doesn't pay well, and inevitably someone wants a rotation too (big pain in the *** for no money) I think they get 2 tenths for an oil change, which breaks down to around 8 bucks. How long before I can post everywhere? I thought it was 15 days, but I also saw a month. Any other questions I can help wth, I'll be glad to try and answer...Thanks for the welcome BTW...Still working on the pics, have a few, but most are pre-swap. I'll get some up for everyone soon...

b18c5's are fun, but not everything they're cracked up to be... heavy mods are they only way your car will be really fast with any motor.

Is that my car, as in a coupe vs. the 10,000 hatch owners I've seen on here? Or the box stock 195 hp the motor puts out on the drop-in, much less JE pistons, Crower rods, and Skunk2 sticks? Those are future mods mind you, but I'll put my porky coupe against any stripped out gutted hatch. I'm a little older now (29) and I seem to like creature comforts. You know, AC, PS, something to keep the exhaust heat from melting my shoes to the belly pan...
