Default Which header to choose for road racing,

I am posting this because I've looked and looked....searched through all 50 some odd pages of header threads and I have yet to see a build designed for road racing, the majority of people drag race their car and there's nothing wrong with that but it does suck when you need to look for feedback. So my build consists of a eh2vx with jdm gsr, s2 stage1 cams, mild polish head, s2 IM, 68mm TB , IM heatshield, AEm short ram, B16 trans, kaaz 1.5. What I want to know is what header is most suited for road race? Mid range/top end. I believe from my research that ssr street sweeper, smsp tri-y big tube produce greAt power but I haven't seen much bisi v2 dynos and am torn between the three. I ask because I know I can't be the first to think of this but I haven't found that persons post. TIA

Stay away from a "big tube." SMSP would be my 1st choice, probably followed by either a Toda or maybe the S2. Haven't seen much feedback with the S2 unfortunately, the Toda you can't go wrong with.

greddy, toda, jdm type-r header, spoon, buddy club, mugen, jun

all of these companies make a header for road racing.

i would call and talk with these guys http://www.inlinefour.com ive dealt with them for years and they are heavily into road racing.

I imagine big tubes are more for WOt applications? Don't get me wrong I love the function and form smsp combines with their works!! Thanks a lot for all the info.... So no one has any info on the bisi v2 for a b series? That's unfortunate for Randy... Didn't know him personally but knew of him...r.I.p.

Not all of SMSP's manifolds are "big tube." If you're willing to spend that much, I would def. recommend him over SSR.

Yea I did see the smaller version on their site..going b20vtec or stroking my gsr has crossed my mind.....but the motor runs strong so no displacement chNges yet for me.....that bisi v2 looks like it's promising but promising is far from actually producing .....why doubt facts I'll just Stick to a smsp

SMSP gets my vote. They have always done really good work.

Sorry to hear Randy passed away. As clean rice said, we have lost a legend.
