Hey I just bought a 92 accord lx on the way home I heard a loud racket from under the hood. Sounded like the serp belt came off. I pulled over and yep it did but the crank pulley was smooth?? So l looked deeper and saw that the ribbed part of the pullley that the belt turns on was off and hanging by the bolt??? WTF!!! It seems like the ribbed part of the pulley seperated from the pulley? I then took the belt and that collar thing and slid it back onto the crank pulley and drove home.
Does anyone know why this would have happend and what should I do to repair the problem? Also if your in Colorado I need a new/used exhaust system.
