1990 integra obd0 ecu help?
I have a stock integra. It has a hesitation problem. As I'm driving the rpm's drop then return every minute or so. I checked the ecu, at the same time I turn the key it quick blinks once and nothing more. It spent repeat any codes or anything. Does that mean there's no codes or is it an ecu problem? What could cause the hesitation problem?
you will always see the check engine light for a brief moment. This ensures that the light actually works. since you have a 90 you have an easy way to check to see if codes are appearing.
pull carpet up from passenger floor to expose the ecu.
glass window on the upperside of the ecu in the middle, turn the key to the ii position to where the lights on the dash appear.
look at the window to see if any lights are blinking.
if you see a red light blinking you have a code. count the blink to check which code you have.
long beep=10
short beep=1
it will do long beeps first then short beeps and it will show all of your codes by using a pause and then start over again.

Well, that's what I did. I pulled up the carpet, and when I turn the key the light on the ecu window quickly blinks once. I was told the codes would repeat, but that doesn't happen. It just blinks once when i turn it on, and that's all. So if there is a code, it's code 1. I just want to make sure that I don't have a problem with my ecu itself.
Anyone gonna answer my question? What would the led window on the ecu do if I had a bad ecu? I know that's code 0, but is code 0 no flashes, or a constant light?
hesitation sounde like a coil. take a look here and see...

you said your rpms drop then jump back up? theres a thread on here that im actually in the process of looking for myself, shows you how to clean your intake manifold, usually gets dirty and makes your RPMs go loco, when I find it I will link it here, i mean hopefully it helps as far as it sounds, doesnt sound like your ECU to me, prob gotta do some cleaning.
actually went and found it just now
check it, im doing the same thing, couldnt hurt anyways..
