Default 90 Fuel pump

90 CRX. Is the fuel pump connectors in the spare tire area or more forward under the storage area? I want to test it but not sure what to pull out to get to it? Thanks

So what is the access under the storage, just the gas level sender unit? I have never taken it apart so i don't know, but i thought that it was the pump and sender. never mind yes you have to drop the tank here is the post i found https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/crx-fuel-pump-removal-2558936/. I dont want to drop the tank or pull the pump, just test the wires. Im sure it can be done without pulling the tank and removing the pump. Anyone here know whats going on?

Nope, you have to drop the tank. Or you can cut a hole in the back interior directly above the fuel pump if you'd like. It's very simple to replace the fuel pump, just time consuming if you haven't done it before.

If you want to test the wires pull out the back seats and under the seat you will see a metal plate With wires comming out there will be 4 wires, 2 are for the fuel pump and 2 are for the fuel level sender unit. Its been a while so I forgot wat 2 colors are fuel pump do a lil search I'm sure you can find out.

YOU CAN test your fuel pump by removing the *** pad(90-91), or storage compartment(88-89). The wires through the round plate are the fuel pump wires.
