Default vtec solenoid gasket

im doing some maint work and going to order some stuff ....delray is listing the gasket twice one is 2 bucks more. do i need both of them? its number 14

12 is the one for the side of the head. 14 is for the upper part. i would buy both unless you know which one is leaking.

going to order 12,25 and 14 but delray is listing 2 number 14's

for the price of those two parts, i'd buy both. Even if you end up not needing one you will have a spare part. but if you do need it you will end up waiting for the part to arrive.

Honestly I've never had a problem with the top gasket leaking, only the one where it bolts to the head.

No prob. My gasket was leaking mad crazy. It was 16 years old.
Make sure to follow the torque. I broken them and my buddy too. They're weak as hell where the bolts go.

I have and badly. I was dried out to the max. Also, theres a screen filter that can get clogged on there.

Doesn't hurt to replace it if it's leaking. $13 at the dealer.
I argued with the guy because he claimed that you must not take the piece apart... Then some OG came out and agreed with me and that it's a gasket that most people working there dont even know you can order.
