Default Suspension clunk?

I've got a 92 accord that just had a clutch job, and I'm getting a strange clunking on the driver side. Only happens in first gear leaving a stop with the wheels turned... any ideas?

That is a definite bummer. The driver side cv has less than 5k on it. When we were reinstalling the cv to the intermediate shaft it the knuckle came out of the grooves and we thought they went back in correctly, but it must not have. thank you very much for the help.

See if the place you bought the shaft from has a warranty?

I'd check the transmission mount first.

Well the tranny mount is on the passenger side, and i made sure we torqued the bolts down to spec when we re-installed the tranny. I'll still check them out though. thank you.

Which way are the wheels turned when you get the clunk?

It only happens when they are turned to the left. leaving a stop or in moderate cornering.
