-----------GM Intake Air Temperature, IAT, Sensor with Neptune or Ectune-------------
Well I searched and I found 1 thread pertaining to this topic but it was rather old and inconclusive. I was hoping to have some light shed on running a GM IAT Sensor with Neptune/Ectune.
Also would a coolant temperature sensor be ok to use as an IAT? I ask because I found that a Saturn SC1 (97-01) 1.9L Coolant Temp Sensor is 1/8" NPT and same scaling as GM IAT.
And a Saturn Ion (2004) has a coolant temp sensor that is 1/8" NPT AND has GM IAT style plug...
These are what I found from my research and was hoping to discuss

You're not going to be able to run a GM intake sensor on a oem based ecu tuning system. You really dont need a faster intake temp sensor. Best thing to do with the temp sensor is get a bung from xenocron, weld it into your charge pipe right before the throttlebody. this will give you accurate intake temps instead of heatsoaked intake temps by mounting on the intake manifold, also a thermogasket works wonders for heatsoak
