Got a 94 accord with H22A and a skunk2 pro intake with a 70mm TB. I need to buy an intake for it and the 2.5" does not fit on the TB. I am guessing that a 3" intake would work but am not finding anything that is 3" where I have been looking.

I want to run it down through the hole where original airbox joined the resonator on right front fender area behind the battery.

I am in FL so I am going to get one of the hydrolock things to use down there with whatever air filter I get.

Should I make one from j tubing and couplers?

Is there a good deal on anything 3" out there?

I have a 3" intake that fits just fine on my 70mm TB. AEM sells 3" intakes not sure if they have one for that chassis though.

 

Those cheap intakes they sell on ebay are probably 3". The $50 short ram I got off Amazon measured 3 inches and fits my velocity stack perfectly. It's just made of very thin aluminum and the provided brackets are useless.

I wouldn't know where to get a 3.5".

 

buy some aluminum piping or pvc(dont know if you can get that in 3.5) and go to town.
metal only makes it shiny.

 

um serious you may not believe it but those bs intake piping are 3 1/4 at autozone for like 15 buck

 

I used an ebay 3" CAI, on my 68mm TB, on my H22, in a BB2.

 

i would honestly fab your own. measure the od. a few pie cuts, easy welds, few grinds, and a fitler(k&n or wix) 30$ later you have more power than anything else.

 

build it or buy one the aem kits that have 3"
