Default Track / street suspension

Okay what are some of you guys using as far full coilovers for the street and occasional use at the 1/4 mile? We take the car to the drag strip and we drive on the streets. I'm not planning on making it strictly drag cause we want to enjoy it on the streets so I'm not looking for 12k/18k spring rates. Just something that when we take to the track I can raise the rear up and stiffen up the front some to take away some squatting at the line. Anyone using buddy club coilovers? Any suggestions please!

You might want to actually explain what you intend to do with it. First, you list track and street, then mention drag racing...

And you don't want to adjust the height of the rear end at the strip without an alignment, as the toe will be off afterward.

Sorry. Meant to say 1/4 mile. I'm not going to raise the car at the track. I'm just saying when I prep the car for the track I can raise the rear end. My friend owns an alignment machine so it's not a problem for me to get it aligned. But yeah 1/4 mile and street use is my intentions

What benefit does raising the rear end of a FWD car provide at the strip?

If you want to reduce launch squat, you want stiff rear springs. If you want street comfort, you want soft rear springs. This one is going to come down to your preference / tolerance and which activity is more important to you.

No personal experience with Buddy Club stuff.

I would say go with what works best on the street, that is where you will be using the car 99% of the time

Raising the rear height isn't going to help you at the drag strip. You need stiffer springs.

I would recommend some setup with stiff valving, probable at least 500F and maybe 400R if you want a compromise in stiff and tolerable. I've got 350 rates and I'd imagine much more than 400 really starts to get tough on rough roads.
