As you all know from my recent thread, my ITR was stolen last week (https://honda-tech.com/forums/acura-integra-type-r-8/01-765-stolen-2920358/).
In preparing to challenge the insurance adjusters settlement amount, I'm trying to collect articles which support how rare and collectible the ITR has become in recent years. I'm found several threads which links to a recent KBB article:
http://cm.syndication.kbb.com/kb/ki....assics;article
Unfortunately, it seems this link is dead. Therefore, I wanted to reach out the board and see if anyone saved this article, or can find this article and email or link me to it. Also feel free to link me to any other articles which may support the fact that the ITR is now considered a collectable.
Thanks in advance.

Not sure what the KBB article contained...
Old USA Today article (pics don't work, and it's not very descriptive): http://content.usatoday.com/communit.../09/68498782/1
Classic Motorsports Magazine had an article on it in the past. Also the GRM 25th anniversary issue had something in it as well. You might do some searching on their websites to find them.

I've used the above referenced USA Today article to successfully open a collector's policy. In an email to the underwriter, I also included quotes from and links to a few other online sources. It later turned out that the biggest selling point were the annual numbers... mine was a 2000 and the most "plentiful" year.

Thanks All!
Yeppers, that's the info I was looking for. We'll see if insurance will consider it.
Thanks, but I'll hold off for now but I may hit you up later for a scan of it.

I could've sworn there was a sticky thread with people who successfully challenged insurance companies offering low amounts for ITRs that were stolen/written off. I'm also interested in how they fought the insurance companies in order to get a more reasonable settlement.
