My First GS-R Swap & It Came With A 1997 Integra!
That's right, I typed the title! For those that know me know that I have never owned a Honda with a v-tec motor. I have always loved my B20 motors. However, found a all stock 1997 Acura Integra GS-R with 163,*** miles on it for $2,000.00. Paint is jacked, needs a new fender, and seats but what do you guys think? Also will need some new taillights cause it has some gay *** altezza type ones on it.
Thought it was to good of a deal to pass up seeing as the GS-R swaps alone are almost $2,000!

Congrats on the gsr man. sweet buy! since the paint is jacked, just do a DIY on the body work..the fender is a piece of cake. the 94-97 is the best style integras!
Congrats on actually owning a real honda engine with decent horsepower for once
I'd pull the engine for a rebuild if I were you.
BTW keep the taillights it's the way to go

Over the weekend I decided to fix the hacked up looking valve cover job. I replaced the valve cover gasket, valve cover grommets, spark plug tube seals, and v-tec solenoid gasket.
Wow, that motor looks pretty clean for 163k. No leaks visible, no paint chipping on the VC....How does she drive? any clicking, clattering? Beeping and bopping?
Driving is very good and the tranny shifts smooth as well. Doesn't act like a car with 163K on it so I am happy with her.
Well, since I bought my 2003 Infiniti G35 coupe I don't drive the Integra no more. So it's time for it to go! If your around the Dallas/Fort Worth area then you can have a chance on winning it from E-Bay
