Default New here, not new to Hondas.

Hey there everyone!

I'm new here, well, I've had an account here forever. I currently own and run Honda Modifier Online. Much smaller site, but I like it. I thought I'd come here and soak up more information. I wanted to take a second to introduce myself and my vehicle. My name's Joe. I go by Vexamus on this board and mine as well. I have a 95 Accord EX done up fairly well. here's a couple of nice pics I've taken recently.

And finally a blurry *** pic of me sitting on my ride(my boy can't take pictures to save his life..

More pics can be found HERE.

Lemme know what you think or if you'd like details.

Welp, used to be a lot quicker before the wheels but I'm working on that.

Engine:

11mm Wires, Iridium plugs, Crane digital ignition with coil and MSD cap.

JE pistons, 11.7:1cr, crower rods. boared and stroked to 2391cc
Kinda dicked myself over though, was going for an allmotor buildup; trying to lighten everything but it turns out that it's not the direction I want to go(gonna boost in a month or two).
I used to have a programmable LINK Ecu, but had to get rid of that due to electrical problems and now back to a stock ecu which doesn't like my motor...
I got some cheap **** for bolt on's too, but they do the job.. Focuz Header, some generic short ram intake, and a pacesetter catback. Nothing special.

Um, I painted my valve cover red.. lol

Suspension:

This is where I finally got it right and didn't do it in the wrong order.

upper and lower strut braces for the front and an upper for the rear, full energy suspension bushings all around the car. 2" H&R drop springs all around with a custom made(read: home made) camber correction for the rear. Tokico Blues to keep the nasty "boing" away. 18"x7.5" Velox VX8's wrapped in Kumho 712's. (put my first scratch on them today). I installed a really beefy stabilizer bar up front. Haven't done TOO much with rear bracing as I prefer the car to step out around corners, but only a little... lol

Interior.

The interior is just plain shitty, I got pedals, but they're functional enough to heel-toe.

My stereo is fairly nice. I got a Kenwood KDC-M919 MP3 CD player running 100w/ch to my front Kenwood 6" door speakers and pioneer piezo's on the dash.
Sending a few rca's to the trunk meeting up with a beefy Jensen 720w amp pushing 2 Pioneer 10" in a probend bandpass box running in 2ch mode, and another 200W Pioneer amp pushing mid's and highs in the form of horn tweeters and CompVR 8" woofers in a custom designed box that face up and through the conceiled holes where the stock 6x9's where. 1120watts, total system. It's nice, crisp and loud. I also recently installed a Sirius Satellite Reciever and antenna which is directly controlled by the deck so I get perfect quality without any FM modulation crap.

that's about it, other than what you see on the car itself, I got the S-Type red tails, and Projectors with angel rings.

nothing special, and until I rebuild and boost it, it's just a cruiser, not a race car, but does love the twisties so... Fun to drive and that's what's important to me.

Sweet. I was hoping you wouldn't be another all-show Accord owner.

If you're going to get rid to the pistons to lower your compression ratio, I may take them off your hands if the mileage is low and they're set up for a 89mm bore. Also assuming that you have an F22B1. You say you stroked the engine, how much extra stroke did you have over 95mm?

Nice ride. Do you think you can post a pic of the valve cover? I'm thinking of doing mine also.

Damn I got excited when I saw someone with a an all motor F22b1. You ever dyno that biznatch? But the boost will be fun too.

I have a 96mm stroke and 89mm bore. So it's rather slight in dimension, but it's effective at adding lowend while still being able to handle 7 grand on the tach. I've had it up to 8 grand on the tach, no on purpose, missed a shift, just stopped the engine and restarted and all was well. I wouldn't recommend doing that too often though...

Yes it's an F22B1, stock head with a slight valve job and I used to custom grind my own cams, but since I destroyed my last head, it's completely stock now. A skinny copper head gasket helps to raise the compression ratio, but as it is now, I can't run anything but the cleanest 93 or higher octane fuels under stock engine management. Kinda sux when I go west, I recently went on a x-country trip for a Honda Modifier Online national meet, didn't fair TOO well in Cali cuz of the shitty gas. Sorry, kids.

I'll get pics up of all my suspension next time I take her to the shop(prolly next week).

Here's my engine when it's dirty.
(keep in mind, this is before the installation of my ignition system and wires.)

Interesting. We'll have to talk. I think I'm one of the only people here planning a full n/a F22B1 build, and your experiences will come in handy.

Planning on a F-Max kit, Drag IV or custom kit? I like the setup, are those headlights brighter then stock or dimmer?

the headlights are much better, I just put in some PIAA platinum series bulbs last night(the housings require european bulbs, H3's for lowbeam, H1's for highs). Nice white/blue with a wide spread. Much better than stock. Up next for lighting is a 7000K crystal blue HID kit.

Prolly looking at a DRAG kit, but I may go custom with another ECU cuz I don't much fancy the idea of using two injectors in the intake piping to add the extra fuel(seems kinda NAWS'ish), so I may go with 720cc injectors in the manifold and get everything done right in the motor. Looking at either a T3/T4 or a T60.

Actually, I recommend the F-Max kit, but instead, use 440cc DSM injectors and an SMC. Here is a link to some info on it. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=279803

I'm looking at a little more tunability than that... that's a great idea though.

Well, DRAG has too many fitment issues, and is pretty much crap. I suggest a custom setup first and foremost, but if you want a kit, F-Max is the way to go.

yeah.. we'll see how much green I can muscle together in the timeframe I'm looking at. I still gotta do a build down then up, lol for the changeover. I'm sort of backing out of one extreme then going to another. But it'll be worth it in the end.

I'm thinkin I may slap on a T101.... lol

it's the one on the far right, the one in the middle is a T80 and a T88 on the far left.

lol, Got Boost?
