im trying to finish up my b series swap and im having some issues with the wire harness. it started with my the fuel pump not priming when i was trying to start it. so i started going through the helms manual and found out the pump is good but i seem to have an issue between the ignition and the main relay. i had a spare wire harness kicking around so i switched harnesses and the some issue. at this point i think the problem could be the fuse box. i think this because its the only thing between the ignition and main relay that hasnt been changed. also when i mess with the radio fuse there is a bit of clicking from the fuse box. has anyone had an issue with the fuse box going bad? i plan to take it out and take it apart to see if i can see any burning on the circuit board. does anyone else have any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

Oh soooo many questions to answer just to help you....
First off what model is your CRX? DX, Hf, Si? in other words did you have to swap from dpfi to mpfi?
Second did you do anything to the fuse box to make you think that was the problem because you said between the the ignition and main relay...did you try a wire tuck?
If your car is in fact a mpfi and you have not tried to hack up your harness for a tuck then your problem lies in the ignition relay. This is a number one common problem for all civic/crx's in this year.
To test, to key to on position so that the check engine light comes on. When the CEL comes on you should hear the fuel pump prime followed by a click when the CEL light turns off. This is the sound of the relay clicking off after it primes. No click when the CEL turns off then your ignition relay is bad.
I recommend buying a new one (around $60) because I used to carry 5 spares and on hot days none of them would work.

it is a 91 crx si and i have done a tuck but that was a while ago and this problem is recent. also i have the same issue with a differnt harness so i know its not a shorted wire or anything like that. also i have switched ECU units so it isnt that. the fuel pump does not turn on when the key is turned. the problem is not with the main relay.

1. Check for reference voltage. KOEOff, there should be 5 volts at the MAP and TPS.
No?
check fuse 14, ALT under dash fuse box.
OK?
Under HOOD fuse box might be bad- cheap at a junkyard.
Try these steps first.
