Default Clutch help 96 ek

Ok so when my car is cold and I go to back up or pull out right before it's about to fully engage my car shakes terribly bad. It's like being in a Honda with 18's doing a burning out and it wheels hopping bad. I get maybe my clutch is getting bad. BUT it shifts fine can take it up hill at 1,500 mash the gas and no slipping. Also as the car gets warmer the issue disappears which wouldn't happen if it was the clutch. I looked at the hydro fluid and it appears below the max line but just a hair above min. Any input would e great. It's just such a terrible shake I don't want to break a engine mount!

Mine does the same thing (96 DX hatch 160k miles). Heres a thread that could possibly clear it up whats happening.

The symptoms fit very well with a worn clutch. It's time to replace.
