I would just take it there and learn to drive the car rather than doing little stuff that most likely have litter effect on it power wise

Definetly work yourself before you work the car. What I mean by that is, if you dont learn to properly preload you will snap your axles if they have any weak points (speaking from experience). That's if your car hooks good. With regular street tires, you should spin through the launch and snapping axles on a basicly stock setup wont be an issue. Just food for thought.
I would drop the psi on the front tires a tad, say 10lbs max. You want the widest patch possible but if you let too much air out your tires will actually cup upwards and work against you. So I would go in small increments and find what best works for you.
I would launch around 4000 rpms, again depending on the track and car it will all be different. You just have to find out what works. You want a little tire spin so it doesnt bog off the line but you dont want too much and start a burnout at the tree.
Which leans me to the next point, dont do a burnout in the bleach box, it destroys street tires and serves no benefit. Drive around it and spin the tires over before you prestage to get any dirt and debris off the tread.
It takes a lot of practice but is alot of fun and very addicting. Sorry for the novel but I know what its like to be the new guy and not really know much.
As far as the car itself... I would drop the exhaust after the O2 sensor (Cat) and remove the intake you have on the car. If you have the factory one on, just pull out the air box and remove a headlight to creat a ram air effect. Do it like in the pit areas not before you leave your house. lol There's not that much dirt flying around the track to cause engine failure. Will it make a big difference, not really but its free and easy. I hope this helps.
