Default Are d15b7 and d16z6 distributer's internal coils interchangeable?

I have a b7 dizzy half hanging on my z6 engine and I need a real z6 dizzy. Local guy has one for 20 with a bad coil. Is this swap possible?

No. Z6 uses a different housing, D15B7/D15B8 distributor doesn't bolt up properly.

this is awful weird, because I am running a z6 dizzy in my b7 head. Runs fine and bolts up perfectly.(before anyone asks) yes it's a true z6 dizzy considering it came factory in my 95 ex sedan with a d16z6. Also fit in my y5 and bolted up correctly and ran fine

The '92-93 Integra coil is actually different, but the '94-01 Integra coil is an exact match to the '92-00 Civic coil.

It shouldn't... so how about getting a photo posted up to show us AND tell us what housing number you have. It is a 5-digit code found on the edge of the housing facing the front of the car. It will be TD-XXU... the "XX" will be the housing number.
