Can anyone verify?
I remember 2 years ago, everyone was saying after you install a CAI, you have to reset the ecu to gain any extra hp, and some prelude guys were saying you have to reset it often to maintain the extra hp gained by these mods.

i woudln't think so.. stock ecu is programmed to run stock setup, it will do its best to correct a/f ratios with i/h/e.. reseting shouldn't make a difference

I was told you should reset it.

It's pretty easy.

Disconnect battery.

Depress brake pedal a few times. (to purge any remaining charge from system)

Let sit for 10-15 minutes.

Re-connect battery & start car.

Allow to idle for 10 minutes. Do not press accelerator

Enjoy.

(I may be wrong or a little off, but this is what I remember being told to do)

everything correct except you have to have your car warmed up before you disconnect battery or remove those chips in fuse box

and let it sit for 5 mins~ for the ecu to delete old information

connect the batt leave for 10 dont touch gas
