Can a B20 head bolt up to a LS bottom?
I just got a B20 head. does it bolt up to a LS block and tranny? and do i need motor mounts? what other parts am i missing? i know i need a computer. can someone please help! this is going in a civic HB 94 cx.
it'll bolt up yes. if your block is predrilled for VTEC it'll work too! do you need motor mounts? perhaps a couple depending on how adept you are at wedging engines into cars they don't naturally occur in. yes you need an ECU (computer). You'll also need axles if you don't have them, the intake manifold if you don't have that, header if you don't have that, and everything behind the header. Good luck.
Why would you do that? The intake manifold on the B20 is too high, and plus the LS head is better. Maybe you meant LS head on a B20 block.
lol nah the B20 head is better you ever heard the term gangsterhead! B20 is the same as a LS i found out on my own by reading but who ever wrote the post before this one you need to stop sizing me up cuase the B20 is a LS just a bigger liter.
And the weight aint that much of a differance when you have 2.0 instead of a 1.8, and i meant what i said
B20 head with 1.8LS bottem.
