Default Power lock madness!

I am having a problem with my passenger side power lock. It unlocks with key or by hand, although with some difficulty and it always tries to relock itself if the handle isn't opened in time. It just gets stuck in a vicious cycle if I try to use the power locks, it clicks as if trying to unlock and then doesn't move the latch so the system automatically relocks it a few times.

There is a switch on the handle, inside the door.. you suppose it's popped off or misaligned? It's the reason that turning the key unlocks the doors... there's a good chance what you do mechanically with the key is being undone by the switch.

i had this problem a while back with both locks, and my manual locks were disabled so it really sucked, i found out that the main plug that goes from the chassis to the door was loose, so it was constantly connecting and reconnecting causing the locks to constantly lock

So if it is problem 1 I should be able to just take the handle assembly apart and fix it? What if it is problem 2?

For problem #1, you pull the door panel off the inside so you can reach the lock and switch from there.. tight space. There's a little plastic arm, articulated like an elbow, that seems susceptible to popping out of alignment. It's on the inside of the door handle/lock assy.

If it's the connector to the door, pulling the pin on the arm that limits door travel helps get it open far enough to access the connectors (be careful of over-travel).

for problem 2 just open the door all the way, and look for the plug/harness that goes form the door to the chassis and make sure its plugged in all the way and securely. the tabs on mine broke off some how so i just put some glue in there and reinstalled my manual locks

MM&Y of car would help.

If door lock is sticky, "It unlocks with key or by hand, although with some difficulty" I would check the linkageand the door lock actuator itself, [inside the door] something is binding. 94
